SJS Accounting is staffed with bookkeepers who specialize in QuickBooks. We understand the program and are continuously expanding our knowledge in the software with the training modules that are released. SJS Accounting is part of the Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program.
What does this mean to our customers? This means that we have access to information and training as new updates are introduced, we have training programs as we hire new employees, and we have additional resources and support from QuickBooks. We are in the Elite program which is the highest tier that QuickBooks offers.
Being a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor allows us to continue our education with regular training opportunities. This is something our firm strongly believes in. We allow additional time to complete the training for our employees.

Prior to SJS Accounting LLC, I worked for a financial institution for 8 years. This is where I found my passion for helping and working with small businesses. While working for the financial institution, I received my Degree in Business with an emphasis in Management. Shortly after receiving my degree, I found a job with a small cell phone tower company as their staff accountant.
SJS Accounting started because of a business owner who saw my passion for small businesses. This encouragement allowed me to establish the company in 2017 and receive my first client shortly after. Bookkeeping allows me to help small businesses with their financial needs. Combining my banking experience with my bookkeeping experience gives me an advantage to helping small businesses with financial planning, business budgeting, and projections.
My husband and I have 2 wonderful boys. Sports and outdoor activities are our favorite activities. We are a family oriented small business.
Hello! I have 12+ years experience in Small Business General Management. I worked my way into Management the old fashioned way - from entry level all the way up to the top. I've always craved obtaining new skills. I have worn many hats during my career in business management, but I most thoroughly enjoy specializing in Payroll and Human Resource services.
I was born in Minnesota on a hobby farm, and have participated in many horse shows and rodeos throughout my life. My husband I, along with our two wonderful children, live in the Queen Creek area on a growing mini-ranch. We enjoy everything outdoors from camping and fishing, to hiking and horseback riding.
Now that I have joined the SJS family, I am so thrilled to be able to focus on what I enjoy the most: Close knit business relationships with my clients, providing an intimate one-on-one atmosphere with the ease of our one-stop-shop values. Hi! I am Dominique and am currently a Bookkeeper at SJS Accounting LLC. Prior to my employment at SJS Accounting, I worked for LKM Accounting for four years assisting with bookkeeping entries. Currently, I am an accounting student at Chandler Gilbert Community College. I enjoy painting and long distance running. I have a loving family which includes my mother, Rachel, and sister, Araceli.
With a background in payroll, benefit administration, and insurance, I have the knowledge and detail oriented personality to complete work accurately and timely. I will be filling the role as a Staff Accountant with SJS Accounting and am looking forward to being apart of the team. I have 3 amazing kids with my husband Cory and currently reside in the small town of Aberdeen, South Dakota. I am one of the newest members of the SJS Accounting team and after 5 years in sales and 3 years as an executive assistant, I offer a talent for building and retaining strong business relationships. I also apply instinctive organizational abilities to prioritize multiple and shifting demands. I am skilled at analyzing data to assess customer needs and will utilize this ability to help with back office needs. In my off time, I love spending as much time as I can with my fiancé, Sean, and our 1 year old Pomeranian pup, Molly.
I grew up working for my family in various small businesses and began my career after college working for a small garden arts store as the manager, bookkeeper, payroll, and benefits administrator. After 10 years in small business, I went to work for a large multi-national imbedded service provider to one of the World’s largest aerospace corporations, providing basically the same services on a larger scale. While each business is unique, one truth remained consistent throughout – businesses with a strong bookkeeping and accounting foundation thrive. At SJS Accounting each team member knows this and it makes them dig deeper, question more, and actively engage with clients to ensure they are in the best possible position to succeed. I am happy to be joining SJS Accounting and look forward to being a part of that effort.
Patty has worked in the accounting field for 35+ years. She started her career with a retailer that grew from 70 to 650 locations. At this retailer, Patty worked in payroll, staff accounting, and finally as a property manager. The work included a variety of functions including data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account analysis, journal entries, and budgeting. After 15 years, Patty took some time off to raise her two children. During this time, Patty also worked as a consultant doing property management bookkeeping for a real estate company with multiple owners and entities. For the last 10 years, Patty worked as a controller in the insurance industry for an individual financial firm with reporting required to a large corporation. The work included many facets of accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, month end financial reporting, and budgeting. Patty retired in April 2021, with the intention of keeping her hand in the accounting field and signed on with SJS Accounting in May 2021.
During my career I've worked in electronic sales/management, semiconductor manufacturing, accounting, college administration, and co-owned a commercial construction subcontracting company. Out of all the jobs I've held, one has drawn me back again and again, and that's accounting. I appreciate the time and effort our clients put in every day to keep their business viable while wearing so many hats. It's a difficult and time-consuming process to keep all of the balls in the air and your eyes on the business. Our goal at SJS Accounting is to take those accounting tasks off our client's desk by making sure that their financial records are done properly and that they have readily available visibility and easy access to communication about their company's financial health. At SJS Accounting, we see our clients' needs as our top priority and I'm proud to work with such an honest and hard working group.
I spent my early career working retail for over 6 years until I was lucky enough to land a job at SJS Accounting LLC. I’m looking for the next step where I can continue to learn, grow, and use the bookkeeping skills I’ve honed to contribute to a company I love. I’m excited to gain new experience to grow my career as a bookkeeper and to be a part of this awesome team! Between my boyfriend and I we have four children and we currently live in San Tan Valley. We enjoy all things outdoors from riding UTVs and camping to baseball games and water parks.
I spent most of my adult life in the military or working with the military as a civilian. In 2021, I decided it was time to change my career path. I worked for another small bookkeeping business learning the tricks of the trade and expanding my knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparing. While working at SJS Accounting I have been able to continue to learn and grow in bookkeeping. I am currently looking into schooling and the possibility of a second bachelor's degree in accounting, or something related to bookkeeping. During my down time I enjoy playing tabletop games, weightlifting, and going on adventures with my girlfriend and our 4-year-old black lab.
I am so excited to work at SJS Accounting. Bookkeeping is a new experience for me, as my career for over 20 years has been in Education. I had been the Administrative Assistant to the Principal at a local school district and the Office Manager for Maricopa County. I also was an Office Manager for a small construction business when my kids were young. Between my fiancé and I, we have 3 adult children, a daughter in law, a granddaughter and a loving dog. We love camping, fishing and spending time with our family. I am excited for this new endeavor to add to my career path and work with the wonderful people that are my co-workers.
